Teams do not build trust with a poster on the wall.
They build it with stories.

Story Culture is a half or full day corporate workshop that uses storytelling practice to bring teams together, build genuine trust, and give people a real, shared way of communicating with each other.

The problem

Every organisation already has a culture. The question is who is telling its story?

Culture is more than a values statement in the staff handbook. It is what actually gets said in the tea room, in exit interviews, and in the version of events people repeat to each other when leadership is not in the room.

Many organisations try to fix culture with more communication. More emails, more town halls, more slide decks. But information does not build trust. Connection does. And connection is built through story, not through messaging.

Story Culture gives your team the practical skill of storytelling, so they can build a positive and collaborative culture themselves, together, in the room.

A team that can tell honest and authentic stories to each other is a team that can be honest and authentic with each other.

The workshop

What your team will leave with.

01

How to surface the stories already living inside your team, the ones shaping trust, morale, and how people really talk about working there.

02

How to build psychological safety by modelling honest, human communication instead of polished corporate messaging.

03

How to turn feedback, change, and difficult conversations into stories that land instead of criticism that gets defensive.

04

How to give every person in the room a shared language for connection, so culture becomes something the team builds together, not something handed down.

05

How to carry the work forward after the session ends, so the shift in how your team communicates outlasts the day itself.

Who it's for

Built for teams and organisations.

HR and People & Culture teams
Leadership teams navigating growth or change
Teams recovering from disruption, restructure, or low morale
Organisations that want engagement to be real, not a survey score
Any team that spends more time together than they connect

Format

Half day or full day. Built around your team.

Half day

A focused three to four hour session. One core shift in how your team communicates and connects, with practical exercises they can use immediately.

Full day

A deeper six to seven hour intensive. Room to work through real stories inside your organisation, with more time for practice, discussion, and implementation.

Every Story Culture workshop is built around your organisation, not a generic deck. My goal is to spend time understanding your team's context before the day so the content, examples, and exercises reflect what your people are actually navigating.
