TEDx Coaching

From a powerful idea to talk worth spreading.

Speaking on a TEDx stage is not the same as delivering a keynote.

It’s not a workshop.
It’s not your life story.
And it’s definitely not a pitch.

A TEDx talk is built around one clear idea — an idea strong enough to shift thinking, spark conversation and travel far beyond the room in which it was delivered. And that requires a different level of precision.

As a global keynote speaker, public speaking coach and curator of TEDx Wynyard Quarter, I’ve seen firsthand what separates a good speaker from a powerful TEDx talk.

It’s not charisma.

It’s clarity.

TEDx is idea-focused, not personality-focused. Every story must serve the idea. Every claim must be grounded. Every sentence must earn its place. In under 18 minutes, you are asked to present something that could change how people see the world.

That level of discipline is not accidental. It’s designed. This is why it pays to work with a coach.

When we work together, we begin by refining your core thesis. Most speakers arrive with multiple angles, experiences or insights. TEDx requires one central idea — distilled and defensible.

From there, we structure your talk with intention. A TEDx talk follows a psychological arc. It builds tension, introduces insight and leads the audience to a shift in perspective. The structure is strategic, not improvised.

We also strengthen intellectual credibility. TEDx is not about opinion; it is about contribution. If you are making claims, we ensure they are supported. If you are telling stories, we ensure they illuminate the idea. The talk must stand up to global scrutiny.

Then comes delivery.

TEDx talks are rehearsed at a level many speakers are not used to. Timing matters. Language matters. Presence matters. The performance is refined until it feels natural - but never casual - because once it’s filmed, it lives online indefinitely.

Working with a TEDx coach is not about polishing slides. It’s about elevating your thinking, sharpening your message and preparing you to contribute something meaningful to a global audience.

If you have been accepted to speak at TEDx, are preparing an application, or believe you have an idea worth spreading, this is legacy work, and legacy deserves preparation.

Public speaking is communication.
Keynote speaking is transformation.
TEDx is contribution.

If TEDx is your lane, let’s train the right muscles.
