Uncovering Authenticity Podcast – Episode 10 – Peter Chatteris

peter chatteris

There is nothing more engaging than a real story, told from the heart. I first met Peter Chatteris at Auckland Toastmasters where I heard him deliver his pre-competition speech for a National Toastmasters Competition.

His story, sharing his adoption journey was an exquisite demonstration of delicate and polished storytelling technique, mixed in with a powerful message of how we choose to live and deal with traumatic experiences.

I was struck by his presence just as much as his narrative and this interview discussing the power of unleashing your creativity is one to watch and listen to. Peter is a public speaker, author and owner of The NZ Speech Academy, a company that provides writing and speaking services and coaching to individuals and organisations.

With over 40 years of experience in running businesses across various industries, Peter has a unique combination of technical and interpersonal skills that enable him to create compelling and informative content and events for diverse audiences.

Peter is also passionate about public speaking and honing his own craft and has won multiple Toastmasters Competitions at his club, area, division and district levels from 2016 to present day, and enjoys sharing his insights and stories with his students, professionals, and community groups, motivating them to achieve their goals and dreams.

Have a listen, learn and take from the chat what you need.
